Another week that starts and we are going to start in the best way around here, with a colour that is starting to get more fans every day!
Amarelo! O amarelo foi daquelas cores que demorou a conquistar-me... e que ainda hoje não gosto de todas as suas variantes cromáticas, uma vez que nem todas ficam bem com o meu tom de pele.
Curiosamente, o primeiro amarelo que usei era muito semelhante ao Melodious Utopia da Orly!
Yellow! The yellow was the last colour of polish that I fell in love with (I guess...) and still I don't like all of the yellows, because some of them make my skin look sick.
Curiously, the first yellow I ever used it was very similar to Melodious Utopia by Orly!
Quando vi este verniz pela primeira vez no frasco apaixonei-me perdidamente por ele! A cor é linda e o shimmer amarelo/dourado que o compõe dá-lhe um brilho e profundidade únicos! É um encanto de ver, em especial ao sol, uma vez que brilha imenso!
When I first saw this polish in the bottle I completely fell in love with it! The colour is beautiful and the yellow/golden shimmer that swims in it's formula is absolutely gorgeous and gives the polish a unique shine and depth, specially in the sun!
Eu adorei de paixão a cor e o acabamento deste verniz... mas a fórmula, já nem tanto.
O Melodious Utopia é um verniz pouco pigmentado e que, apesar de eu ter aplicado três generosas camadas, ainda era possível ver o branco da unha em certas iluminações. A sua aplicação também não foi das melhores... uma vez que o mesmo manchava e arrastava um pouco ao ser aplicado.
Confesso que fiquei um pouco desiludida com a fórmula... foi o primeiro verniz da marca que me decepcionou.
Aconselho-vos a utilizarem este verniz por cima de um branco ou de um verniz amarelo de cor semelhante... ou então, se a cobertura não vos incomoda, apliquem-no por cima de uma camada de TC fosco, isto vai ajudar na aplicação e impedir que o verniz arraste ou manche.
I loved the colour and the finish, I really did... but the formula, not as much.
The Melodious Utopia is a polish that lacks in pigmentation and therefore the three generous coats that I apply weren't enough to cover the white tip of my nail. The application wasn't smooth as usual, because this polish drag and stained.
I'm little disappointed at this polish, I must confess... It was the first polish of the brand that ever let me down.
I advise you to apply this polish over a white or yellow base... or, if the coverage is not your concern, try to apply it over a matt TC, this will prevent the polish from dragging and creating thoses dark stains.
